The tour size is kept at 8 people unless there is one group booking together. However, if there are more than 8 people in your group, you must call to book as we have more than 50 Segways available.
No. You just have to TRUST the Segway and it will balance you. Don’t worry, we don’t expect you to trust the Segway at the very start but trust will come.
We don’t want people to show up for their tour without a reservation because we will not have a Segway for you. When you make your reservation we give you the meeting location (or look at this link to see all our tour meeting locations).
Yes, we start with a training session that lasts between 10 to 30 minutes depending on group size and comfort level. As soon as everyone is comfortable, we take off!
Best to wear comfortable shoes. Also, it is always a little cooler on the Segway.
You will be provided a bicycle helmet free of charge. You may bring your own helmet if you wish.
We will provide rain ponchos but you may cancel (with a full refund) or reschedule in case for rain.
Yes, you can take pictures during the tour, and your guide will also take pictures for you. You will be provided with a link to the photos soon after the tour, and it's completely FREE.
No, for most tours, there is one stop where we get off the Segway to rest our feet. As tours are in small groups, we can also stop as desired for the group.
The tour guide is a wealth of information about the area and will take periodic pauses to share. Feel free to ask the guide about the history or nature around.

Yes, it is necessary to make a reservation ahead of time as we transport the Segways to the tour locations and need to know in advance how many guests are participating. To increase your chance of getting your preferred day and time, it's recommended to book well in advance, which can be done online or over the phone.
Tax and booking fees added to the price of the tour.
Although riding a Segway is relatively easy, we require that all riders be at least close to 11 years of age (you know your child best. An adult or guardian must accompany children under 18.
There are no weight restrictions for our tours but a person must be comfortable on their feet and not have issues climbing stairs without assistance. It is best that the participant is at least close to 70 lbs. or more.
Riders should have the ability to climb and descend stairs without assistance. Anyone who is exceptionally overweight, or physically infirmed, (not having the ability to climb upon and stand on the Segway PT for periods of time) should reconsider doing this tour.
No, pregnant women are not allowed to ride on the Segway PT for safety reasons. There is a possibility that you would fall.
No. The Segway is designed for one rider. In many cases, you can rent a bike for them to bring them along.
We don’t just rent a Segway PT but if you have a specific place you would like to go please call us and we can design a tour especially for you or send a tour guide to accompany you at a location of your choice.
